Mega Bloks Dragons Metal Ages: Ramparts of Ryousan Playset

It’s natural to assume, we imagine, that if you’re going to be fighting a battle wherein dragons play a major role, "realism" is not a concept that you pay much attention to. This sprawling 185-piece set from Mega Bloks, part of the Metal Ages line of fantasy toys, offers an enormous wall and a high 26-inch tower for the feuding Odaka and Norvagens to do battle on, in, and around. Adding to the drama are a  battering ram, a magnetic cannon, and a catapult, along with various heavily armed soldiers. The dragon Gryndel is on the scene and impressively articulated and poseable. We were impressed with the level of detail on the figures and equipment. --Charlie Williams
